The City of Regina successfully enhanced its recycling program by implementing Prairie Robotics' automated auditing and education system in 2021. After a trial period, the City transitioned from a manual audit program to an automated solution, performing over 40,000 audits (an 8x increase) and sending more than 10,000 personalized postcards to households with contamination issues. This initiative led to a 42% reduction in contamination, saved 1,000 work hours, and helped increase recycling revenue while reducing processing costs.
